RESUMEN DE LAS FUERZAS ARMADAS SUECAS:

The Swedish Armed forces consisting of air force, navy and army will in the future organization named IO14 be comprised of the following amount of people:

3900 Officers (OF 1 and above)
4900 Specialistofficers (Other ranks OR9 and below)
6800 employed soldiers and sailors (army, airforce, navy)
9100 contracted soldiers and sailors (army, airforce navy) (Part time rotating in and out of service)
2500 reserve officers

All in all 49200 to which you can add 5300 civilian employees.

The active army will consist of the following units, mainly organized into 2 brigades:
-4x Mechanized battalions (CV90)
-2x Light Mechanized battalions (Patria AMV)
-1x Light battalion (RG-32 Galten)
-3x Tank companys (Strv122 Leo2)
-1x Guard battalion(Infantry, mainly ceremonial duties)
-1x Ranger battalion(«Arctic rangers»)
-2x Engineer battalions(Patria XA-203, BvS10, Leo2 Kodiak)
-2x Artillery battalions(Archer, Patria XA-203)
-2x Air defense battalions(HAWK, Rb70)
-2x Logistics(CSS) battalions
-1x Technical battalion(repairs etc)
-1x Security(counter SF) battalion
-1x Intelligence battalion
-1x Command post battalion(serves 2x brigade HQ’s and 1x (F)HQ)
-1x Signal’s battalion(tactical telecom, satcom etc)
-1x Electronic warfare battalion
-1x CBRN-defense company
-2x Military police companys
-1x Heavy transport company
-1x Movcon company
-2x field hospitals
-1x Special Forces
-40x Home guard battalions(22 000 men)

The reserve forces will consist of:

-4x Heavy mechanized battalions(Leo2, CV90)

The air force will consist of:

4x JAS 39 Gripen squadrons(active)
2x JAS 39 Gripen squadrons(training, education)
1x Transport squadron(C-130)
1x Helicopter battalion(NH90, A109, UH-60/EC725)
2x Airbase battalions
1x AEW&C squadron(Erieye)
1x SIGINT squadron
1x C2 & air surveillance battalion

The navy will consist of:
-2x Corvette divisions (5x Visby class corvettes + 2x Gothenburg class corvettes + support and command ships)
-2x Mine hunting divisions
-1x Submarine flotilla (4x submarines, 1x Submarine rescue ship, 1x SIGINT ship)
-2x Support divisions
-1x Naval base battalion
-1x Sea surveillance battalion
-1x Amphibious battalion(CB90, hovercrafts, support boats, Bv206S)
-1x Surveillance boat company

SARSKILDA OPERATIONSGUPPEN(LA que nos ocupa y hace que se nos vaya la pasta en trapos varios):

Särskilda Operationsgruppen ( Grupo de Trabajo Especial de Operaciones,SOG) es una de operaciones especiales de la unidad de grupo dentro de las fuerzas armadas suecas que han servido desde 2011.
Su sede central se encuentra en la guarnición de Carlos en Karlsborg , Västergötland .
Särskilda operationsgruppen se formó en 2011 mediante la fusión de la skyddsgruppen Särskilda (SSG) y Särskilda inhämtningsgruppen (SIG).
SOG está reclutando oficiales regulares, oficiales de reserva y reclutas calificadas para buscar una formación especializada oficial de las fuerzas armadas suecas .
SOG depende directamente del Comandante en Jefe y Director de las fuerzas especiales (Chefen för specialförbandsledningen).
Su numero total de efectivos se calcula en unos 250,ante la imposibilidad de reunir mas informacion dado el secretismo que rodea al grupo,dandose incluso el caso de no llevar en el uniforme reglamentario de batalla ninguna insignia que los identifique como miembros de tal.
